Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is the abnormal growth of cells that develops in the bladder’s lining, leading to tumors, in the bladder, and if not treated promptly, can spread to other parts of the body. Urothelial carcinoma is the most common type of bladder cancer is, which arises in the urothelium.

Diagnosis often involves urine tests, cystoscopy (a procedure to examine the bladder), and imaging tests like CT scans or MRI. 

Treatment options vary depending on the stage and type of bladder cancer, and can include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and intravesical therapy
