Perineoplasty Surgery

Perineoplasty also known as perineorrhaphy is a surgical repair of the perineum, the area between the vagina and the anus. It is used to address physical issues caused by childbirth, trauma, or congenital deformities. This helps to improve comfort during intercourse. Besides it restores muscle tone, and corrects functional problems like urinary or faecal incontinence. 

The procedure involves precise incisions in the perineal area. The excess or damaged tissue is removed, and the underlying muscles are tightened to restore strength and tone. Finally, the incisions are closed with dissolvable stitches.
