Ovarian Cyst
An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac like formation either on the ovary or in an ovary. While most cysts are benign in nature, some may be cancerous. Most cysts are harmless and disappear on their own, but some show symptoms.
Symptoms of Ovarian Cyst:
- Often, ovarian cysts cause no symptoms.
- Symptoms can include bloating, a feeling of fullness, or abdominal swelling.
- There could be pain in the lower abdomen or lower back.
- Pain may be experienced during sexual intercourse or with bowel movements.
- Sudden, sharp pain, fever and nausea may be observed, indicating a ruptured or twisted cyst.
