Kidney Cancer (Renal cell and Renal pelvis)
Kidney cancer develops in the kidney tissue, including the renal pelvis. The most common Kidney cancer is the renal cell carcinoma.
Types of Kidney Cancer:
Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC): It originates in the kidney’s tubules.
- Renal Pelvis Cancer:This includes urothelial carcinomas, which affect the transitional cells lining the renal pelvis and ureter.
- Wilms Tumor: Wilms tumor is a rare kind of kidney cancer that affects children.
Symptoms: Blood in the urine, flank pain, a lump near the kidney and other urinary symptoms.
