Prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a cancer in prostate gland, which is a part of the male reproductive system. Its occurrence ids due to uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells.  Prostate cancer shows slow progression, however, in some cases it could be aggressive and spread to other parts of the body. 

It can be attributed to the changes in the DNA of prostate cells, either inherited or may be acquired during a person’s lifetime. 

This do not show symptoms early but as it progresses, some men may experience: 

• Urinary Issues
• Blood in Urine or Semen
• Discomfort in the lower back, hips, or thighs
• Other Symptoms include Loss of appetite, weight loss, or bone pain if the cancer has spread to the bones.
